1. What can I find on IQ Elite?

    IQ Elite is an innovative dating experience that takes, besides the usual factors, the intelligence of people into consideration. You will find and get to know other singles that are interested in meeting someone new outside their usual social circles.

  2. Who is allowed on IQ Elite?

    Everybody who passes our IQ Test can join IQ Elite. We will also accept you if you are a student or graduate from our list of top-tier universities. Last but not least, you can join through an invitation by one of our current members.

  3. Why is sending messages only possible for premium users?

    Online dating statistics have shown that men start conversations much more often than women. If messaging on IQ Elite was free, women would get flooded with messages, not being able to answer many of them even if they wanted to. This would lead to frustration, because many messages from men would seem to be spam. Since women would get so many messages, the probability that a man would get a response would be very slim. This, again, would force men to write even more messages to women, in the hopes that one finally answers. You might recognize this phenomenon from your other online dating experiences. By limiting the messaging function only to our premium members, we assure our female members that messages are only sent from members who are genuinely interested in getting to know them. For men, this means a higher -- and higher-quality -- response rate.

  4. How does the IQ Elite match making algorithm work?

    Sorry, but we cannot publicly reveal all the details of our secret recipe! But we can let you know some essential parts of it: With the help of all of our tests and some bits of your profile information, the algorithm dynamically finds the most highly-qualified candidates for you in your city. Needless to say, having a more complete profile will increase your chances of meeting someone special.

  5. What if I am not satisfied with the premium service?

    Most dating websites have a strict no-refund policy. That’s probably because they receive so many complaints. We, however, are different than most dating websites. For us, there is no need to try to trick members into swiping their credit cards, because we actually believe in our product. If you are not satisfied with our service, please let our customer support team know, and explain why you would like to cancel your membership. Until the 14-day cancellation period you will of course receive a full refund.

Registration & Login

  1. What should I do if I am having trouble validating my email?

    There will be a message in your email inbox. Its subject will be "IQ Elite Confirmation of Email address". In this message, there will be a link to confirm your email address. If you did not receive this email, we recommend trying the following:

    • Double check that you have correctly entered your email address. This can be checked via the "Change Email" tab in the "Settings" section.
    • Check your junk mail folder. The "IQ Elite Email Confirmation" email might have mistakenly gone to your junk mail folder. If so, please mark IQ Elite as a safe sender.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are still unable to receive IQ Elite emails, please try a different email address.

    We have strict email validation rules. We do this to make sure each user is a real person, and thus improve the user experience for everybody.

  2. How do I change my password?

    To change your password go to the "Account" section under the "Settings", and just enter the old and new passwords.

  3. “Report Profile”: What does that mean?

    With “Report Profile” you can report violations of our rules. It should be used to report a person who:

    • Has a fake profile
    • Is spamming
    • Has uploaded an inappropriate picture
    • Has posted inappropriate content

    Your complaint will remain completely anonymous. The reported person will under no circumstances find out that you have reported him or her.

  4. I do not remember my username/password. What can I do?

    First, be careful that you enter your email address as your username. For example, you should enter “SubashPatel@hotmail.com”, and not just your name, “Subash Patel”.

    If you still cannot succeed, click on the “forgot password” link, and we will send a link to your email address, which you can use to reset your password.


  1. I don't want my age to show in my profile. How can I delete it or make it invisible?

    Of course. Click on "Settings" in the top-right corner of the screen. Then from left menu select the "Basic Info” section. You will be given an option to hide your age.

  2. Why can't I remove my profile picture?

    The IQ Elite policy requires that all users provide at least one profile picture. Therefore, you cannot remove your profile picture. If you would like to change your profile picture, simply upload a replacement picture. Your old profile picture will be deleted immediately.

  3. My location is not correct. What should I do?

    To change your location, go to the "Settings" section and click on the "Location" in the left menu. You can easily change your location by moving the pin to the right place on the map.

  4. Why has my avatar been deleted/disabled?

    IQ Elite is a site that matches people according to their test results, location, hobbies and other preferences. But people also pay attention to people’s appearance. That's why we want all our users to have a suitable picture. To change your avatar, go to "Settings", and from the left menu choose "Profile Picture". From there, simply choose a photo and save your changes. Please read our Avatar Guidelines for more information:

    Your avatar should just show you.

    Not allowed are

    • Photos with children
    • Photos with sexual content / nudity
    • Photos that infringe copyright (eg., cartoon characters or celebrities)
    • Photos containing abusive, defamatory or libelous
    • Photos of a commercial nature
    • Photos with personal data (such as names and emails)

    Also, do not forget that:

    • The file size should not exceed 10 MB.
    • The file has to be jpg, png or gif.
  5. How can I hide my test results?

    To hide a test result, go to your Profile. From there, click "Online Assessments" and select the test result you would like to hide. Tick the box "Hide Test Result". Other members won't be able to see your test result as long as the box is ticked.


  1. How can I share my test results on Facebook?

    Click on the "Tests" tab in the main menu, and click on the test you would like to share your results. Now click the button "Share your result".

  2. Where can I choose which notifications I receive from IQ Elite?

    Click on the "Settings", then go to "Account" section and choose "Notifications". You can deactivate notifications by deselecting the check box.

  3. Can I contact other users if I don’t have a Premium Membership?

    Yes, you can. You can send free gifts and winks to everyone without a Premium Membership. Furthermore, you can respond to messages from other Premium Members for free. But if you want to initiate a conversation with an individual message, you need to purchase a Premium Membership.

  4. How do I cancel my Premium Membership?

    You may cancel your membership anytime and for any reason. No strings attached. Simply click on "Settings", scroll down to "Account" and from left menu choose "Premium Subscription". On this page, you"ll see the option to cancel your subscription now or later.

  5. If I delete someone from my list of contacts, will they be notified?

    No, they will not be notified. But you will also be deleted from their list of contacts, so sooner or later they are likely to notice.

  6. How do I change my email address?

    You need to go to "Settings" section and select "Change Email" tab. There you can type in your new email address. A confirmation email will be sent to that email address. Once you click on the link in that email, your new address will be immediately activated.

  7. How do I close my account?

    To close your account, visit account settings by clicking on "Settings" at the top-right of the screen. In the bottom left, you will see the "Close Account" link. Your account will be closed immediately once you have confirmed your decision.
